This update turned out way bigger than I thought! Looks like I bit off way more than I can handle. And yep, I'm in the same boat I was with the last update. 😅

Working on this update made me realized how hard writing the story for a visual novel. I mean, it's a novel, right? But dang, it's a challenge! And that's just the writing part, not even counting setting up all the scenes and getting the animations just right.

That's why I'm going to aim for a slightly longer release cycle going forward, maybe around 2 months per update. But that's just a rough idea, it really depends on how the story unfolds. But honestly, I really think it'll all be worth it! Give the new update a try, you'll see the difference from the last one. Sorry that updates might take a little bit longer starting the next one. I just need to find a good balance to make sure I don't get completely burned out. Thanks for understanding!

Alright! Let's talk about the branching choices from the last update. I think I might have introduced that a bit too early. Also, I get that the choices themselves were a bit confusing, you didn't really know where they'd take you. I'll make sure choices are much clearer in the future. But right now, the focus is on main character's corruption.

Because of that, it's important that you get to experience every scene with each love interest. So, in this update you don't need to fear about missing a whole scene with a love interest. But there will be some additional scenes that depend on your affection points later on.

Okay, so just like after every update, I'm going to take a break for a couple of weeks while working on the early draft for the next one. The early draft that I wrote for this update wasn't that useful in the end, because I ended up changing and improving things a lot. So, for the next update, I really need to focus on writing the story properly from the start, since there are quite a few things to juggle and get just right to make sure the story is good!
