Hi friends!

My journey on Itch.io has been quite an adventure! When I first tried to create a page, I was really surprised to find that my game had already been posted by someone else.

Naturally, I reached out to Itch support and also asked around for some advice. For several weeks, there was no response at all, and finally, after almost a month, I sent another email. Then, after waiting for about a week, the page was finally taken down. Yay! ☺️

But the struggle wasn't over. My official page hadn't been indexed yet! I know Itch has a queue for indexing, so I was happy to wait patiently. So, I waited for another month while working on the game. Still not indexed.

Okay... I guess there are a lot of games waiting to be reviewed. I waited for a couple more weeks, but then the Purge happened. It was such bad news for everyone, and I wished it would get sorted out soon.

Then came a glimmer of hope: games would be re-indexed if they were made free. Naturally, I decided to make my game free and disabled donations, hoping this would help. I gave it a few days, understanding that the team at Itch must be incredibly busy.

But then I saw that an nsfw game with a fairly new account is being indexed? Huh? Here I am waiting almost 3 months for my game to be indexed, and this game just easily got indexed? Okay, that's it! I'm sending them an email asking for it to be indexed. 😒

It's... been about two weeks since that last email, and I haven't heard back yet. So, I thought I'd make this post and send another email today. I'm really hoping they can take a look and get my game indexed soon.

Sorry for this long rant. It's just that indexing means a lot for me to reach a wider audience, so I'm really keen for it to get sorted.

On a brighter note, I'm thrilled to share that v0.4.1 is progressing smoothly! For everyone waiting, thanks so much for your patience. It won't be much longer now! 😉
